    Hide taskbar labels - Windows 10


    ALCON,


    I want to make the left side of my Windows 10 dual-display look like my right-side (screenshot attached), but can't figure out the options. I don't have much experience using the Taskbar anywhere but at the bottom, so my attempts to discover the possibility have failed. Any advice from the community? Is this even possible?

    how to effectively hide or disable the taskbar?

    Hi,



    Did you try the “Auto-hide the taskbar” option from Taskbar properties?



    If you have not tried it, I would suggest you to follow these steps and auto-hide the taskbar:

    • Right click on Taskbar.
    • Click on Properties
    • Check the box Auto-hide the taskbar.
    • Click on OK.

    Windows 10 Taskbar option - never combine hide labels

    Can we please have this option of "Never combine Hide labels" for Windows 10 Taskbar.

    It is one of the necessary requirements to work without hassles and distraction due to taskbar title resize happening.

    Windows 10 taskbar won't hide

    I tried the procedure above three times. I restarted in between each try. These instructions do NOT work in Windows 10.

    PLEASE FIX THIS PROBELM WITH AN UPDATE.
