Windows 10: High bandwidth usage of ntoskrnl.exe.

I am using windows 10 for a long time but recently from few months, I am facing this issue every time I turn on my laptop. The Systemntoskrnl.exe eating all my data, whenever i connect to the internet, I am totally frustrated with this issue, I tried finding solution online but none of them worked for me, my windows is fully up to date, and drivers are also fully updated, still don't understand what this program using my internet for. I tried the solution given in this thread https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us...gging-my/e92b4e28-9d61-41a6-93a0-c53c9673ffd9 and many other forum's but it didn't work for me. Looking for a permanent solution for this if anyone can help.

ntoskrnl.exe Why High CPU-Memory usage by ntoskrnl.exe ANSWER MICROSOFT!

I have tried everything including disabling Runtime Broker

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\TimeBroker]

"Start"=dword:00000004

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\SysMain]

"DisplayName"="Superfetch"

"Start"=dword:00000004

- Disabled Superfetch and rebooted.

- Disabled windows notifications.

- 0 Malware on this system.

This should have been fixed in the Anniversary Update.

It is obvious it is tied into the Microsoft Store or something Microsoft does not want to have us disable.

Tried Microsoft Support Suggestions:

Method 1: Run the System File Checker tool (SFC.exe) A FILES CHECKOUT FINE!

Method 2 Run Computer in clean boot state and check if the issue appears in in clean boot state as well

Method 3: Update Drivers ALL DRIVERS UP TO DATE!

THIS IS A FRESH INSTALL WINDOWS 10 HOME with Anniversary Update.





Question: Why is ntoskrnl.exe using 25% of my CPU? Mind you that is uses 25% with or without (Superfetch Disabled, Runtime Broker Disabled, Notifications turned off.) All Drivers Updated.

Question: How can I Remove, DISABLE ntoskrnl.exe? I do not need nor want using 25% of my CPU.

Question: Who is working on this? This is a serious issue with Windows 10, (as you can see from all the Microsoft community post below. None with any answers just a bunch of feedback questions from Microsoft.

This obously need to be esculated.

ntoskrnl.exe High CPU Usage

i've recently installed a new SSD Drive to my laptop replacing the DVD rom with a caddy alongside with the original HDD drive

since then i have a high cpu usage as ntoskrnl.exe and can't find a driver to my SSD

The SSD drive is AData SU650 120GB, Any help, pls ?!

I spent many more hours than I had hoped this past week reading and trying others' suggestions from this community on how to reduce high RAM usage due to ntoskrnl.exe. The "System and compressed memory" process remained the top consumer of RAM, using 500-900MB,
among all other processes running. I deemed it to be the likely culprit in making my computer use frustratingly sluggish. After completing your
third step, steps 1. & 2. provided no improvement in my case, the "System and compressed memory" process RAM usage has plummeted from the top of the Task Manager Process list to the bottom, running at a remarkable 0.1MB! That's a whole lot less than
1% of the targeted process' gluttony. You're hired! Ps. I'll be keeping an eye on the process' use as I get back to normal operations, and be back if it floats to high in the list. Or if the registry fix you suggested has compromised use in any way. Please
explain in simple terms what the insertion of your registry modification is doing.
