Windows 10: high cpu usage by service host unistack service group

Discus and support high cpu usage by service host unistack service group in Windows 10 Performance & Maintenance to solve the problem; every single session since the latest update I inevitably spend half an hour sitting with high cpu usage going to the 'service host unistack service...     high cpu usage by service host unistack service group


    every single session since the latest update I inevitably spend half an hour sitting with high cpu usage going to the 'service host unistack service group' and its to the point where I'm curious...what is this? what does it do? is its sole purpose in life to have me glare at it for 30 minutes every morning? I've read and tried some of the troubleshooting steps here on other threads, looked at ms' community forums, seems like an issue within the os to me. so...what do I do?

    I cannot fix this super high CPU

    Still high cpu and disk usage. The task manager and msconfig cannot disable things that would cause Windows to be "unstable and shut down." Service Host: Local Service

    Service Host: Network Service

    Windows Modules Installer

    Service Host: Windows Backup

    Service Host: Unistack Service Group

    etc..

    are things that if ended, will make my laptop force a restart because it crashed. The listed items (and more) don't even show up in startup task manager or msconfig.

    Well in MSConfig I see Diagnostic Service Host but I don't know if I should disable that. I searched it up and many people put "DSH failed to start"

    Windows 10 Pro - Unistack / Unistore - High Data / CPU Usage

    Got the following Problem with my Surface 3 Pro:

    Very high writing / reading and cpu usage of the "Unistack service group". Like the following file which is accessed by svchost

    svchost.exe 1128 C:\Users\XXX\AppData\Local\Comms\UnistoreDB\store.vol

    Ending the processes result in short time with no cpu and data usage at all and then it is restarted and again very high data / cpu usage
