Discus and support High Definition Audio Device error This device cannot start. Code 10 in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; ive check my device manager and found an error on High Definition Audio Device. how do i fix this? also my pc have been crashing and freezing randomly...     ive check my device manager and found an error on High Definition Audio Device. how do i fix this? also my pc have been crashing and freezing randomly these past few weeks, i wonder if this is the cause of it.My PC specs: Intel core i5 760 GT 610 8 Gb RAM

    This device cannot start. (Code 10) High definition audio controller


    Macbook pro early 2011 bootcamp was not willing to let the SSD run in AHCI mode in windows 10, so I did EFI installation of windows 10.
    Everything seems to work but the audio card.

    I tried installing the drivers manually and automatically and from the bootcamp but this error persists.

    Is the problem in the EFI implementation of the macbook pro early 2011 that windows cannot read , or is it related to drivers ?
    I downloaded latest videocard Intel HD 3000, and realtek generic driver. The audio drivers seems to be from currus logic.

    On Bootcamp install (BIOS) the sound card works fine, but in EFI it can not start the driver.

    Conflicts with the audio driver is one of the possible reasons why you are having an error code 10 (Device Unable to Start). For us to assist you better, kindly answer the following questions:

    • Have you made any changes to your computer prior to this issue?
    • Which Version and OS Build number of Windows 10 is currently installed? To check, press the Windows key, type winver, and press the Enter key.

    Meanwhile, you can try to follow the troubleshooting steps on this
    thread     that was provided by Rajesh Govind on November 18, 2013. This is for Windows 8.1 and will also work for Windows 10.

    High Definition Audio Device

    I keep getting message that there is issue with High Definition Audio Device. The error is code 10 (Device Unable to Start). I have tried updating but its still not working. I did install the latest Realtek Driver and it made my speakers a lot more louder
    but im still getting same error. Also the Realtek HD audio manager app will not start after clicking it.

    Windows 10 64bit
