    High digit in DWM user. Is this even normal?


    Recently, I was looking what was using my CPU that much - and it was just Microsoft Compatibility Telemetry, so nothing interesting here. Until, I realised DWM was running under DWM-26 user. I saw the dwm.exe process running as DWM-1 to 3 usually... but DWM-26... I have never seen this high number...So, can anyone tell me, is this even normal that the DWM process is running in this high-number user? And can anyone tell me what's the matter on the number of the DWM user?There are no instabilities with this process whatsoever.Screenshot:Regards,-Abdulqadir.

    Finding username DWM-1 on the task manager

    Interesting. Out of curiosity I switched users until In was signed in with three of my local accounts at the same time. I ended up with DWM-1, -2 & -3.

    The other reason I suggested this is that users can add characters to their username that are not alphanumeric (e.g. user*). This confuses things somewhat when looking at the list.
