Windows 10: High disk usage from system process and Windows Modules Installer

Hello,Recently I have had a problem on my PC being stuck on 100% disk usage all the time.I'm not sure what the problem is though in task manager it shows System and Windows Modules Installer being at high percentages of usage. I have tried many things to fix this such as defragging the drive, running sfc commands checking for rootkits with MalwareBytes and even resetting my PC which still hasn't fixed the issue. The issue started when I was copying pictures from my old phone to my PC and it froze and I was met with a BSOD which said "kernel data inpage error". Help is much appreciat

Windows Modules Installer Worker - high CPU usage

The Windows Modules Installer Worker is a background application that checks for new updates from the Windows server and install them in your computer. It's task takes high usage of CPU that causes load on the system especially when Windows Update is running.

We recommend that you check the following first:

• if your device is running the Scheduled Automatic Maintenance
• if the Windows Update is running and installing
