High DPI Mouse - Freezing lagging and jumping - Win10 4K display

    Hello Helpers

    I am Helpless

I bought a new Dell 4K 32" and then everything starts.
I had to scale my display to 150% less than this and I can't work
I am a graphic designer and with 4K my programs and windows UI and my old mouse were really bad.
so I bought Nvidia Quadro P600 + mouse Razer Atheris

But the mouse still driving me crazy, its an High DPI mouse

The mouse randomly freeze or jump or speed up for no reason, also skip clicks or lose click when holding and dragging, makes it very hard to work with graphic softwares

    Tried
with official driver and windows HID defaults
    Stop all Razer services
    change mouse to lowest DPI
No CPU spikes have seen (sometimes I render on 100% and the mouse is smooth)
disable "enhanced precision" no help, also this feature is a must on big screens

    Don't know what to do
I must use 150% scaling and I must use a good mouse to work on 4K 32" display
I truly believe its the windows 10 to blame but maybe there is a workaround
I have searched the net but couldn't find any real help

Thanks for reading and trying to help

    :)

  2. MANY issues with high DPI (4k) screen

It's not a scaling issue. Actually, scaling has worked surprisingly well. Even Chrome looks good, and I saw on day 1 with the high DPI screen that it had many issues at one point. Edge does look best at high DPI (it honestly does).

But there are so many other problems!

Edge occasionally simply stops displaying stuff. There will be a blank spot where a tab, button, or webpage element should be. The Start tiles do the same thing, at the same time. The tiles will disappear, and at its worst, the start menu is just an outline,
with the interior transparent. All it takes to reproduce this is to run Edge long enough on this new screen.

The Netflix app crashes my display driver now. There are random graphical glitches, like squares zipping around the screen chaotically, but only if Edge has been running. In fact, all of this happens only if Edge has been running.

The solution is simple: don't use Edge! Problem is, although Chrome and Firefox look good at 4k now, they still have issues. Sometimes, for example, if a page takes up too much memory (like a 4k wallpaper gallery), Chrome will simply freeze.

None of these issues happen without the high DPI. Turning down the resolution eliminates these problems completely. But 4k is just so pretty, and I'm paying a ridiculous sum for a 4k screen. Before this, the most expensive monitor I ever had was $450. This
one will run me $2500 -- enough to build a top tier gaming PC! And for that, I get a slew of issues, some of which don't even make sense.

Whatever Edge does to look prettier, something is wrong with that code. I can't even begin to guess what, but it's very clear that is the case. I'm not even sure if this will be helpful to anybody because I can't get very specific about what I think the problem
is. And I don't think I'll get a solution here. I just want Microsoft to know that their high DPI support is absolutely terrible, and it's actually kind of shocking.

  3. How do I fix my mouse from lagging, freezing, and jumping?

I updated my driver but every time I move my mouse it lags, freezes, and jumps. It only happens when I move my mouse, I have tried to update, uninstall, etc. I've tried task manager the hole lot if anybody could give any suggestions. It would be greatly
    appreciated.

  4. High DPI Mouse - Freezing lagging and jumping - Win10 4K display

Mouse pointer jumps and stutters after upgrade to 4k monitor.

I just spent 3 weeks banging on this problem and wrote up a summary of the solutions and workarounds

    http://www.urtech.ca/2017/03/sovled-fix-mouse-lag-4k-screens/

I surely would have loved to seen a single coherent list of ways to solve the mouse lag on 4K screens when I started. There are many 'hair brain" recommendations floating around the internet that seems to be designed to waste your time or get into arguments.

I truly hope this helps you. High DPI Mouse - Freezing lagging and jumping - Win10 4K display :)
