    High end PC completely crippled by Antimalware Service Executable


    Since 3 days now this Antimalware Service Executable is making my CPU run at 100% non stop for about 10 minutes after opening any application.

    This extremely slows down my computer. For example opening my browser or just opening a new tab can take a minute. I even experience mouse stuttering.

    I tried excluding the windows defender folder from windows defender but this didn't help.

    I scanned my PC with AVG and it found nothing.

    Searching for a solution on google always returns the same solutions which don't work.

    Is my MsMpEng.exe file infected? Is this is a bug in windows?

    Antimalware Service Executable High disk usage

    Every time I start Windows, or open a program Antimalware Service Executable shoots up to 100% disk usage for an hour or more. This cripples my computer for an hour. I have a third party antivirus program on my computer (Bitdefender) and wish to permanently
    and completely disable Antimalware Service Executable so I am no longer faced with this problem. How do I do that?
