    High hardware temperature after update


    Hello,My specs are:CPU: Ryzen 5 2600 six-core processor 3.40 ghzGPU: nVidia GTX 1660MoBo: Asus Prime a 320m-k16 GB ramAt first I noticed the CPU was having very high temperature at the point which my computer shut down. I installed the facultative update from windows update for AMD and it seemed to have resolved that problem. Then I noticed, while gaming using HWmonitor, my temps, especially the gpu temps, where going very high for apparently no reason. I'm perplexed because before the CPU problem, while playing, I did not reach any of the temps that I reach today. I'm a litttle preoccupied be

    I followed these steps exactly and the only thing showing in my task bar is a sun icon but not temperatures are being displayed.

    CPU Temperature

    I have tried to follow different sets of instructions on how to reveal the CPU temperature gauge. They either fail to match what I see on the screen or fail to tell me what function key to press when I eventually get to the list of options. Can anyone
    clarify this for me. (I'm investigating the possibility that instability on my Sony All-in-one PC is being caused by high temperature).
