    hello! I have quite high ping in multiplayer games ~150ms a lot of the time with it occasionally getting worse. Running a speedtest shows an apparent ping of 28ms. Why is this? it is not because of server location - both connect to servers in Dallas while i'm in Austinit is not because of internet speed - both upload and download are over 50mbpsi don't think it's because of my distance from the router but i don't really know what an acceptable distance isdoes anyone have any advice?

    Windows 10 High Ping on Games

    Is it before the CSGO update or after. Lots of people are reporting this issue after the update. They are saying that the new update has messed up the routing or something. I would suggest to try connection optimizer like Kill Ping. It will bypass all the
    nodes in between and directly connect you to game server.

    But first do these steps given in the guide for CSGO

I dont understand why Speedtests (Ive done a Ookla speedtest and a Ipv4 speed test) Tell me my ping is low but when im in games like Roblox, Valorant, Planetside 2, I experience extreme buffering sometimes. Some days the ping stays low other times its super high. I've been struggling with this for the past 2 months. Please help!!!!
