  1. High polling rate problem after updating to 24H2

Since I updated my computer to version 24H2 my mouse lags randomly when hovering the desktop, or some win32 apps or roblox, it becomes slower and then teleports after a couple of seconds.I tried so many things already, mouse drivers, fixes, tweaks, I even reinstalled Windows 11 24H2 with a clean install removing everything from my SSD and the problem started to happen as soon as the OOBE setup ended.I tried Linux and this problem doesn't happen there. When I open firefox, edge, a game except roblox this lag doesn't happen.

    :)

  2. Word window lags when mouse polling rate 500 or above

I search on reddit and find out this case, I advise you try it.

“it has to do with the mouse and the USB polling frequency

With a Logitech MX518 with 125Hz I had no problems whatsoever. Ever since I switched to a Logitech G502 with 1000Hz these Office applications started to lag when dragging. You can reproduce this by changing the mouse frequency in the mouse drivers from e.g. 1000Hz to 125Hz. The option is called "Report Rate" in the Logitech Gaming Software. Dunno about other vendor's mouse drivers.

In the end I think it's probably a f*ckup between the high polling frequency of the mouse and therefore high update rate of the cursor and Windows' GUI VSync as well as Excel/Word refreshing the content of the window.

edit2 Refreshrate of the monitor does NOT matter. So it's solely the high USB polling rate that's causing this.”

  4. High polling rate problem after updating to 24H2

Need a Complete Windows 10 Mouse (and other device) Polling Rates Listing!

    Hello,

I would like to inform that polling rate of any device depends on the hardware.

The polling rate of a mouse is how often it
reports its position to a computer which is measured in Hz. A mouse will report its position 125 times every second
    which shows, its polling rate
    is 125 Hz.

You may set the polling rate in the control panel if the mouse supports high polling rate.

You may try contacting the manufacturer of the hardware regarding this.

If you have any further queries, feel free to contact us. We will be happy to help you.

    Thank you.
