Windows 10: High RAM consumption after upgrading to 22H2 versions

Hi I have recently a problem with the ram because after upgrading Windows 11 to version 22H2 something takes half of my RAM I have 8gb of RAM before the update it was about 10-20% when you turn on the laptop now it is 50-60% I would like to say that my user takes 1gb of RAM but invisible what about the rest recently even the whole August jammed and I could not do anything It's not heard of for me because they never get stuckHi I have recently a problem with the ram because after upgrading Windows 11 to version 22H2 something takes half of my RAM I have 8gb of RAM before the update it was about

How to get the Windows 10 2022 Update version 22H2 Win Update

If you can't install it from windows update you can try to install it manually, it's the same KB5015684 obtained with windows update.

Do dism and sfc /scannow commands before and/or after installing it.

 

High RAM consumption in DWM.exe process after Win10 Anniversary update


Anyone else having this problem?







my system is PT-BR, but the process eating 435mb is DWM.exe

I suggest you to delete the unused process running from the task manager.

Steps:

• Right click on the Start button and select Task Manager.
• Identify the un-used processes, select and click on End task.

Method 2: Run the Performance troubleshooter.

Performance troubleshooter finds and clean up unused files and shortcuts and performs maintenance tasks.
