Windows 10: High RAM usage and random Black Screen blank screen with no cursor after March 12,...

Hi Community,


I have been getting the following issues after updating to March 12, 2020—KB4551762 OS Builds 18362.720 and 18363.720:


1. High RAM usage

2. Random Black Screen blank screen with no cursor

3. Halt of running processes.


I get no option but to hard boot after that.


Can you please look what the issue is?

Black screen after Windows update.

• Were you able to get to the desktop screen after you restarted the system?
  
• When the screen was blank, were you able to see the cursor on the screen?
  
• Did you get any error code or error message?
  

Please get back to us with answers to above questions, for us to suggest the appropriate troubleshooting steps.

High CPU Usage | explorer.exe cause my screen BLACK

I have been waiting for windows 10 to be release now its here.

I just installed Windows 10 today (11/22/2015) everything went great but I have problem with high CPU usage it cause by Windows Explorer (explorer.exe)

my screen will turn BLACK (as of right now it my screen just turn BLACK, I know cause my Taskbar is BLACK which is my Start menu, search etc. are gone, see the screenshot below).

I have to restart my PC by Holding the Power Down.

If I Highlight Windows Explorer and click Restart at the bottom of Task Manager it will cause the BLACK screen but will fix High CPU Usage.

It happen when I go to Setting to change my Photo viewer to Windows Photo Viewer etc.

Am I the only one having these problem? Anyway to fix these problem?

Hopefully these will be fixed soon.

I already Scan My PC with Malwarebytes 0 found.

Random Black Screen

Re-installed Catalyst 8.35 drivers (from the original cd) - no luck. Still getting the random black screen.
