    high speed internet disables USB ports.


    I use USB modem to connect with the internet. At high internet speed it disables my USB ports and without restart I can't turn it back on. Even I can't do a speed test with it. It disables the USB ports when it starts to calculate the upload speed. And when it happens, it disables the other empty USB ports as well. I have tried different methods which I got from the internet. But none of them worked for me. I tried updating drivers, disabling "selecting usb suspend", making new registry, disallowing the computer to turn this device off to save power from device manager. I can't find anything else to solve this issue. I am really looking for suggestions to solve this issue with the USB internet modem. I am using WIn 10pro, 64 bit.

    I have the same observation, I use t mobile, the 3.5G does not really speed things up. It is even worse than the 3G, so I disabled the high speed internet setting on my e52.



    I have a feeling the access to the high speed internet is locked to the USB dongles.

    why I think so is that that I have a USB internet dongle that has capacities higher than 3G, but t- mobile does not utilize it,( it is not a branded dongle for t-mobile just using my sim card) but when I put in my sim into my phone it shoes 3.5G but does
    not make use of the speed.

    So I think it is only when u buy a USB dongle internet package form them that they enable the higher speed.

    Maybe if you transfer such a sim to your handset it could use the high speed internet because it was registered already to have that access.
