  1. Highlight which photo I have currently open in the folder

Hi, when I have a folder with several photos and I look at each photo in the Photos app, I don't know which photo I have currently open in the folder. The reason I want to know that is because I have to drag photos to another app. Now I have to close the Photos app and look into the folder which photo I had open every time. Is there a way to highlight the photo I have currently open in the Photo app?

    :)

    Save photo folders

    Hello Cece,

There are several ways for you to transfer your photos to your USB device. You can follow the steps provided below:

    • Plug-in the USB device to your computer.
    • Using File Explorer navigate to your photo folders and highlight them.
    • Click Move to and choose Choose location...
    • Then select the USB device you want to store your photo folders to.
    • Or, you can drag and drop the photo folders to the removable USB device location folder and it will copy the files to the destination folder.

Let us know how it goes.

Photos are opening with Paint instead of Photos app

    Hello,

It's likely that your default application for opening photos is Paint. To change your default program in Windows 10 from
Paint to the Photo app, we suggest that you perform the following steps:

    • On the Start menu, select Settings.
    • Go to System, then go to Default apps.
    • Select Photos or any app that you like to be the default under
      Photo viewer.

Update us if the steps above helped you in resolving your concern.
