Windows 10: hindi language not working in widows 10 microsoft edge

Hi

I recently added HINDI language with TRADITIONAL keyboard from SETTINGS (region and language)

It is working properly on Microsoft word, Word pad, Notepad but is not working much good with Microsoft Edge

I type a particular key but it shows any other alphabet in edge's search bar

I type "p" but it gives me "ज"

I type "s", it gives " े " and many mistakes such as these

Please help me, I will be really grateful to you

Please follow the steps to add Hindi as a language.

Hindi Indic Input 2 not working in Microsoft edge!!!

The Hindi Indic Input 2 which was working in windows7 but after upgrade to Windows 10 it is not working. Windows key + space change the language but when I tried to type I can't get the character in hindi. specially in Microsoft edge. I can't search the
web for hindi pages. However, in MS Word 2007 this is working perfactly. I have to type their in Hindi then copy and paste the text in edge. Otherwise it is not possible. Kindly advice.

 

English is default language for my PC yet System data shows up in English, Hindi, and English+Hindi

• Did you make any changes prior to the issue?
• Is it happening with other account as well?

Meanwhile,I suggest you to uninstall the Hindi language pack and check if it helps.

To do so,please follow the steps below:

• Type settings in the search box.
• Click on time and language.
• Click on region and language.
• Under language right click on hindi and click on
  remove.
