Windows 10: Hiragana writing does not work in Windows 10?

Hello, I need to write Japanese and have now installed the Japanese keyboard in the language settings, activated IME and also set the hardware keyboard to Romaji input in the settings there.

But the problem is 1) as soon as I select Hiragana as input in the lower right corner of IME and type it goes directly back to the normal letter input and 2) in Word the language in the lower left corner always jumps back to German after I set Japanese.

On the Internet you will find absolutely no help, does anyone have the same problem? Does anyone know how to solve it?

Microsoft support suggests that you can use the hotkeys
to switch between input modes quickly:

• Press + to change the input language
• Press + to change to Hiragana
• Press + to change to Katakana
• Press + to toggle between alphanumeric and kana modes

As a side note: if you were really intent on making Hiragana your default input, you could write an
AutoHotkey script to do this for you. However, this involves understanding that scripting language.

Run CMD


1. diskpart
2. list disk

Then in the 3º step, put the correct number of disk in the list for the usb flash (if it's listed in disk 3, then you'll have to write select disk 3).

2. select disk #
3. clean
4. create partition primary
5. select partition 1
6. active
7. format fs=fat32
8. assign
9. exit

with that commands you will format the flash drive in fat32, if you have a large drive you can select also "format fs=ntfs" in step 7.
