Windows 10: Hitman 2 Launcher doesn't recognize game files

NOTES:

1. I have contacted the game publishers, but they have not responded. I have contacted steam support, and they couldn't fix my issue.

2. I have never moved or touched my game files.

3. My Antivirus never moved or touched my game files or at least it never told me

4. Don't tell me to go to Steam/Settings/Downloads/Steam Library Folders and change it to where my game files are. I've done it 3 times already and it did nothing.

Hello, I'm having an issue opening Hitman 2.

The game files are where they always were, but, the launcher just stopped recognizing them about a week ago.

I`m sorry I had not noticed that the text on the picture was in spanish. It says that windows has replaced some damaged clusters in "name" file and "directory". Then, at the end "an unspecified error occurred (75736e6a726e6c2e 4f6)".

I`ll do it and I`ll be updating this thread when I have the report.

Epic Games Launcher

I got this computer from my step dad, he got it from his insurance company. When I open Epic Games launcher I can see the logo but the rest is blank. Is there a file I need to remove? I really would love any suggestions

thanks for response. I tried your steps with a Google DNS and Open DNS - but it doesn´t help.

The game still crashes in the moment I try to run it.

I'll be glad for another solutions.
