    Windows 10, desktop PC, when typing in MS Word or in MS Outlook, hitting the letter T causes focus jump to and open Edge Browser. How do I remove this?

    Edge - new tab focus behavior

    Is there a way to let Edge focus on the address bar once I open a new tab?

    I experience the following behavior:

    1. Open Edge
    2. Ctrl + t (new tab)
    3. Type e.g. www.myfavouriteaddress.com

    Issue: The typing is ignored since the focus is not on the address bar.

    Unfortunately I haven't found anything. Microsoft didn't answer on that.

    I know I work around it like that, but I'm looking for a setting which let me change the default Ctrl + t behavior:

    1. Open Edge
    2. Ctrl + t (new tab)
    3. Ctrl + l (focus on address bar)
    4. Type e.g. www.myfavouriteaddress.com

    Environment

    • Microsoft Edge 38.14393.2068.0
    • Windows 10 Enterprise

    no jump list on focus flash for app list

    First I want to share my disappointment with the WP7 team for not having an easy transfer process like the iPhone has…I have to reinstall at least 50 apps manually all over again….



    But my question is I had a Samsung focus and now the flash and I used to have all my apps listed alphabetically when I selected the letter on top it would bring up the
    a list of individual letters so that it can jump to those apps. Well now the focus flash doesn’t have that jump list. I am running latest os and no updates are available 7.5

    Browser (Edge & Firefox) loses focus when opening through taskbar

    I don't know which update. 6 updates were installed over the past week on my PCs. So one of the must have caused this bug.
    But like I said, Edge works for me. Chrome and Firefox have the issue.
