Windows 10: HKEY_CURRENT_CONFIG access denied, nothing shows up in group or usernames in Windows 10

So I was trying to access a game folder in WIndowsApps but couldn't get the permissions working. I tried making myself owner of the folder and everything but it wont work and recently realize that Microsoft really doesn't want us poking around in there but I have managed to get my HKEY_CURRENT_CONFIG's access is denied and when I try to change permissions I see no users I can change them for and clicking advanced shows the image below. This doesn't let me use my microphone anywhere, not on zoom/google meet or audacity

To provide user/s an access to folders, see the steps below on how to do so:

• Right-click on the folder > Security.
• Under the Group or user names option, click on the username that you want to have an access to the folder; then, click on Edit.
• It will show you the page of permissions which you can allow or deny.
• Choose your desired permissions and click on OK.

Let us know what happens after following the steps given.
