    I have been signing into my Microsoft account online, often on a desktop Windows 10 main computer, and when I am done with the online Microsoft or Answers.microsoft session and sign-out, I am given this message:Hmm... we're having trouble signing you out.You may still be signed in to some applications. Close your browser to finish signing out.I cannot imagine what other application I would be signed into. I have no other anything of Microsoft that I would be logged into. The main user of this machine IS signed in with that user's account but ONLY one single local user Windows account is used

  2. Trouble signing rotateme

    im on another symbian forum and they have just put a list of apps that can/cannot be signed with open signed...unfortunately rotateme is on the cannot list...i suggest you get rocknscroll app,which can be signed...this kinda has rotateme built into it...actually

    Hi, thank you for replying and sorry for the late reply.

    Yes I can login through the browser. And my windows in up to date. I will try the other steps and let you know. I should add that the same issue is there for my work account as well as my personal account.

    Can you try to sign in first your Microsoft account from the web and see if you can sign-in successfully?

    If you can sign-in successfully, kindly follow these steps for the troubleshooting that could possibly fix this problem:

    METHOD 1: Install Windows updates

    Installing updates can fix common issues with Windows.

    1. Open Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.
    2. Click Check for updates button to install any latest Windows updates.
    3. Restart your PC when installation is done.
    METHOD 2: Re-register Windows applications

    1. Right-click the Start Menu > Select Windows PowerShell Admin
    2. Copy and paste this command:
    [table][tr][td]
    [/td][/tr][/table]
    1. Normally, red text is shown when the process is complete, you can ignore it and restart your computer to see if the game works later.
    2. Check if the issue is now resolved.
    METHOD 3. Run the System File Checker and DISM tool

    This will check and restore corrupted system files.

    1. At the Search, Type Command Prompt
    2. Right-click > Open as Administrator
    3. Type this command:
    [table][tr][td]
    [/td][/tr][/table]
    When it is complete, type another command to run the DISM Tool.

    1. On the same Command Prompt window
    2. Copy and paste this command:
    [table][tr][td]
    [/td][/tr][/table]
    1. Wait for the command to finish, and then restart your device.
    2. Check if the issue is now resolved.
    METHOD 4: Create a new user profile

    In the new user profile, everything must be in the default settings. This helps us determine if the issue is related to the user profile that you are currently logged on to.

    • To create a local user or new user profile in Windows, please visit link below and follow the steps:
    Create a local user or administrator account in Windows

    • After successfully creating a new user profile, check the issue appears. If the new user is working, then that means that the problem is with the current profile that could be corrupted. You can then migrate all your personal files to the new user.
