Windows 10: Hoe Windows 11 PRO OEM vervangen door Windows 11 Home?

Beste forumgenoten, ik heb ongeveer 2 maanden geleden een nieuwe laptop gekocht: HP 470 G9 i7-16GB-512GB Azerty. Hierop stond vanuit de winkel reeds een Windows 11 PRO OEM, en ik wil die nu graag vervangen door een geldige Windows 11 Home die ik gekocht heb, om geen bloatware te hebben & zodat ik die licentie kan overzetten naar een nieuwe laptop als déze laptop ooit versleten is.Ik heb die nieuwe Windows 11 Home geprobeerd te installeren via mijn USB stick met nieuw gedownloade Windows 11 Media Creation Tool erop, maar tevergeefs: bij een clean install zou ± in het begin van de Win

Windows 11 Pro Upgrade from Windows 10 Pro Edition

No but after it installed the malfunctioning Windows 11 upgrade it was listed as Windows 11 Pro. Microsoft Windows support advised I reinstall Windows 10 Pro and said that Windows 11 is really only meant for new PC's that come with it preinstalled. MSI website doesn't list my 2020 GT76 Titan dt-039 notebook on their Windows 11 upgrade eligibility list so I guess that's why the Windows 11 Pro upgrade failed. I suggest being careful with trying the Windows 11 upgrade despite it stating my notebook was capable of running Windows 11 it was wrong. Luckily I have the original Windows 10 Pro USB Flash drive because the Windows 11 Pro upgrade was so incomplete I had no way of reverting notebook back to Windows 10 without reinstalling from a USB Flash.

The more important question is whether your base license is OEM and whether you want to transfer the license in the future to a new computer.

If you bought a Dell computer with OEM Windows 10 Home, then upgrade for free to OEM Windows 11 Home --- buying an $100 US upgrade to Windows 11 Pro will make your license OEM Windows 11 Pro. This is a non-transferable license.

If you want a transferable license, then you have to buy the full $200 US Windows 11 Pro license.

 

Windows 11 Pro OEM DVD

Ok I am a Windows insider and have played around with Windows 11 Release Preview channel, Dev Channel, Beta Channel and Canary Channel. I understand that these are pre-release versions and expect to see bugs/problems within.

Recently I purchased a new NVME drive as well as a Retail OEM DVD version of Windows 11 Pro.

My question is that on this OEM edition, without signing up for the Insider Program, Why am I still seeing alot of bugs that I was seeing in the Insider editions?
