    Holding Down Shift Disables Ability to Scroll With Mouse


    Hi there,I have looked long and hard but have not found a solution to this issue. I am unable to simultaneously hold shift and scroll which I use for spreadsheet work and gaming. Is there a way to disable this feature? If not is there a workaround via keymap software or something similar?

    Can't scroll when holding shift

    I used win 10 for a while and had no issue scrolling while holding shift. However after getting a new computer and using win 11 I cannot scroll while holding shift. I have tried in different programs and web browsers and it'll just lock up the scroll wheel.

    How do I change scroll direction of a mouse NOT listed under Mice?

    Thanks; yes, those are great directions and did work to change the direction of the wired mouse that came with the computer. But the mouse I'm using doesn't show up as a mouse in the hardware list, so I can't follow the rest of those steps. I need the mouse to appear on the list of mice in order to complete this sequence.
