Windows 10: Home Internet not working but able to ping websites. Switched over to mobile hotspot and it...

out of nowhere, my Internet stopped working. Window says I’m connected and I am able to ping website using CMD. Neither ethernet nor Wi-Fi works. I have reset my network stack and nothing is helped. Why would my home Internet not work, but my hotspot works just fine. Other devices like my phone and other computers work just fine.Any help is appreciated.

Using laptop as mobile hotspot sometimes internet does not connect

So currently I do not have a router available (I have a wired connection to the internet) but I want to be able to check emails on mobile through wifi. I found a link (How to Turn Your Windows PC Into a Wi-Fi Hotspot) showing how to use your laptop as a 'wifi hotspot'. When the laptop is connected to the wired connection at work and I switch on the mobile hotspot as shown in the website, I am able to connect to the internet on my mobile through my laptop. However, this does not work at my home.

I would appreciate any help given to solve this problem.

Mobile hotspot if switched on internet doesnt work

So, This issue started for me 2 days back whenever I try to switch on mobile hotspot the network on pc gets disconnected but the hotspot works fine.

Like i use ethernet cable to use internet on my pc if i dont swtich on hotspot it works fine, but when i switch on my hotspot the internet gets cut of in the pc and the device which i connect to the hotspot gets internet its like thee full data power is going to the hotspot itself and the pc looses the power of the internet lol what kind of **** is!! PLEASE HELP !!!!!!

Hi,

Your Bluetooth connection may be enabled which prevents you from setting up your mobile hotspot. To have this addressed, we suggest turning off the Bluetooth connection and see if you're able to set up your mobile hotspot. Follow these steps:

• Open Settings and select Devices.
• Click Bluetooth, then toggle it OFF.

Once done, check if you can now turn on your computer's mobile hotspot. Let us know how it goes.
