Windows 10: Home internet slow on PC but will connect to mobile hotspot fine

I've brought a pc home from work and from the first day i had problems with it. It wont even load one webpage. It's always been a little bit slow at work but the internet there is amazing so perhaps why we never noticed much?


Now its at home, it just does NOT like my internet. It's so slow. I've tried both wireless and ethernet bur both the same. Updated all drivers where possible and even restarted my whole internet connection to factory settings to no avail. Tried changing internet type etc but no help. Using Realtek rtl8188cu 2.0 network adapter on windows 10.


Funnily enough i just created a wireless hotspot from my Pixel 3A and its connected fine. Why doesn't it like my home broadband??

Internet is not connected in Mobile Hotspot

We can try the following ways to troubleshoot the issue:

1. Create a mobile hotspot and share it, how to create a mobile hotspot and share it, we can refer this article: How to turn your Windows 10 PC into a wireless hotspot
   
2. Is there some settings like "Allow all Users" when creating hotspot, if so we can try to enable it, then all devices are able to pick up hotspot connection.
   
3. All the devices or only one android device cannot connect the network name of this hotspot? If all the devices can not connect to this hotspot, it may be a problem with creating or sharing hotspots, if only one android device can not connect this hotspot, it may be the settings problem with this android device.
   
4. Is there a device that can find the network name of this hotspot?
   
5. If a device discovers this hotspot, when we want to connect to this hotspot, is there a prompt to verify the network name and password?
   
6. If the android device can connect other wifi or other hotspots, it may be settings problem with this android device.
   
7. We can try to add a hotspot network manually in the android devices, then we view if it can connect the mobile hotspot.
   

 

Wifi Mobile Hotspot enabled but get 'No Internet Connection' on iPhone

At work, I use the 'Wifi Mobile Hotspot' to connect my phone to the internet, off the PC which is running Windows 10. It has been working fine for years. Then, one day my phone stops connecting to the internet, even though it picks up the computer's hotspot and the internet is working fine on the computer and the mobile hotspot is enabled. See screenshot. What could have happened? I didn't make any changes to the wifi settings but there is someone else who has access to this computer who may have done something mysterious! Unlikely though.

Internet is not connected in Mobile Hotspot

I used Mobile Hotspot feature of Windows 10 and I can connect to my network.

There is however no internet connection with clients which connect to this Mobile Hotspot.

How can I Troubleshoot this problem in android?
