Home network usage causes pc's streaming sounds to break

This has been ongoing when I was on Windows 10 and now it keeps happening under Windows 11 : If anybody uses Wifi and I'm watching anything streaming on the PC Youtube, NetFlix, ... the sound breaks and I can hear 1 word out of 3 and sometimes 1 word out of 10. I have no clue what's wrong. This doesn't happen when I stream on my laptop. So I'm pretty sure it's not a matter of Windows version or my Wifi/network settings on my ISP's box. It has to be something with my PC. Any thoughts or remarks from anybody who has experienced this issue would be appreciated. Thanks.

    :)

  4. Home network usage causes pc's streaming sounds to break

    network internet data usage

    Hi,

One possible reason why the network data usage isn't showing up may be due to a third party program causing it not to work properly. To isolate your concern, we'd like to ask a few questions:

    • Are you using a third party app to monitor your internet usage?
    • Are you on a metered connection? To check, click this
      link
      and follow the steps.

We look forward to your response.
