Windows 10: Home screen freezing after windows updates

After purchasing a new gaming laptop I did all the required windows updates and now I have an issue with my home screen, letting my laptop on idle for more than 15-20minutes my mouse cursor moves and when I click left or right click it doesn't work, neither the apps on home screen gets highlighted, taskbar works and I can open program from it but not from home screen, after 5-6 seconds it goes back to normal. This doesn't happen when clean format, and there are more than 20 updates after format and I don't know which one causes the problem. I really need some help please.

Windows Vista Wont Install Freezes?

had the same problem, freezes and long installation including each step loading, in my case a bios update helped.

 

Friends computer freezing at windows loading screen

Ok my friend is having problems with his computer right now. Basically it crashed on the windows loading screen. This is what he told me on MSN.

Now i'm not too sure what the problem is. I suggested doing a repair install with the xp disk (i'll be giving him that tomorrow) but in the mean time do any of you have any ideas?

 

Screen freeze

'screen freeze' is a very vague term.

Can you describe the issue with more detail?

ex: the image on screen freezes, but i can hit the power button and windows shuts down normally, and i can hear sounds in the background.
