Windows 10: Home WiFi showing up as Hidden Network, unable to connect

I have a Dell laptop running Windows 10 Pro. My home WiFi suddenly disappeared and instead there is a hidden network which I assume is it but I can't connect to it. My home WiFi works fine on my other devices and my laptop connects fine with my mobile hotspot. I've tried network reset multiple times but it didn't help. Very grateful for any assistance!

Wifi Network Not Showing Up, Hidden Network in it's place?

My home wifi network does not show up anymore on one of several devices in my home. I can see my neighbors' networks (both 5 and 2.4 connections) and can even see and connect to my phone hotspot, but my wifi is no longer listed, even though it shows up as normal on all other devices. Now there is a "hidden network" shown that I'm pretty sure is suppose to be my wifi since it has a strong signal and my other devices don't have a hidden network on their list of available networks, but although I enter my wifi name and password as requested, it will not accept it and connect to internet. That particular computer is running Windows 10 and is the only device in my home running it.

I have already reset the network settings, updated drivers, double checked my router settings to see that I didn't accidentally set it as hidden, and I even bought a new network adapter and though more wifi networks show up, my home wifi remains a hidden network. Any idea where to go from here?

After troubleshooting the internet connection it says that there are "no preferred wireless networks-Not fixed" and that "a network cable is not properly plugged or may be broken (detected)". I'm not sure about the first problem, but the network adaptor is new and working fine at detecting other networks.

After troubleshooting the network adapter it gives the same results, except both are labeled "Not fixed" this time.

On the Command Prompt screen I followed everything through however for the ipconfig /renew and ipconfig /release commands, it states that "No operation can be performed on Ethernet/Wifi while it has its media disconnected"

I went through with the steps anyways and after I restarted my PC, my home wifi network still isn't showing up on the list of available networks and is remaining a hidden network and after running the troubleshooting prompts again, it still says the same results.

I also went through everything again while connected to my phone hotspot and the network is still hidden, but this time the troubleshooting wasn't able to find anything wrong with the network adapter/internet connection. I also reinstalled the drivers again.

 

Hidden Wifi Network have to enter SSID each time I connect

My Lumia 532 used to connect to my hidden WIFI network automatically. It no longer shows a hidden network in the list of WIFI networks. The only way I can connect to the network is to add the SSID and password and delete the old entry. Other devices connect
to this network normally. It stopped automatically connecting after some apps were updated one of the aps was the Gadgets app.
