Windows 10: Hosted Netowrk Supported : no - After last update

Good evening,

recently I have updated my Windows 10 with the last update and I noticed that my Wifi Adapter is not letting me create an Hotspost anymore.

The model in question is a Realtek 8812bu wireless lan 802.11ac usb nic. I had no problem prior the last update. I went to check into the command prompt and the Hosted Network result not supported when I have always created an hotspot with no problems.

Is there a way to fix this?

Hi,

my Windows version is the 2004.

I have always used the Windows 10 integrated feature. Basically I can activate the hotspot but it won't accept a connection from any other device,

I mentioned the Hosted network because following other fixes found online, they also mentioned to check if the adapter supports hosted network, which it always did but suddenly it doesn't work anymore,

 

Hosted Netowrk Supported : no - After last update

Windows 10 Mobile Hotspot and Hosted Network are 2 different features and there is no relationship between them. Hosted Network is deprecated in the latest versions of Windows 10 and manufacturers of wireless network adapters no longer implement the driver
for the Hosted Network feature.
Enable Mobile Hotspot, open Cmd or PowerShell and enter ipconfig / all
copy everything and post the result.
Type of Firewall / Antivirus in use?
