    Hotmail Account Not Working


    Can any members help?? My Hotmail account has just stopped functioning properly - I cannot send a message, cannot access the "Settings" and cannot delete Drafts or Deleted Messages. When I click the "Send" button, it simply Grays out and there is no further activity. (Yes, I can receive messages.) If I try to delete messages, the icon next to "Recover items deleted from this folder" just spins and never stops. The "Settings" button will not function either. I am using Windows 10 and Internet Explorer on an HP desktop, but have the same issue when using my Dell laptop with this account. My other Hotmail account is working normally.


    Please note the following before replying: I have re-started the system multiple times. I have cleared the browser cache and all cookies. I have run a full-system virus scan with MalwareBytes with no malicious items found. Again, I have the problem on the laptop and desktop systems. There have been NO changes made to my system permissions, no new programs added, no changes to my Internet Explorer options, no changes made to my Hotmail settings. There are very few items in the "Deleted" folder, nothing in the "Spam" folder either - this is not a storage issue.


    Please assist if you can - I'm lost without my e-mail and I've been using the same account for years and don't want to have to set up a new one. THANKS FOR ANY HELP.
