    Hii receive a hotmail update here from MS but didnt click on it or update.I had clicked on try the new outlook the other day but wnet back to the current one.I don't use outlook except to write to MS help, that is all of you.Can i just leave what i currently have or will outlook update itself whether i want it or not or how will this work?i pretty much only use the app the little blue envelope in the system tray and that's it. I rarely use the full website thank youPaula

    Hotmail recieved big update?

    Hi!

    Hotmail users now have a new UI and some options available to manage their mailbox that make using Hotmail more easy and faster.
    For example I had over 10.000 email in my Inbox I would have had to remove side by side and so I never did it.
    With the updated functions it took me under 5min to clear all TPU and GN notifications making my inbox much much smaller! *Rockout :rockout:

    Try these steps:



    Resync your Hotmail/Live account.



    • Go to Settings.
    • Tap Email+Accounts.
    • Tap and hold your Live/Hotmail account.
    • Select Sync.
    If it doesn't work, reset your password on this link http://account.live.com then perform these steps:



    • Go to Settings.
    • Tap Email+Accounts.
    • Tap your Live/Hotmail account.
    • Then mark off the option of mail synchronization.
    • Reboot your phone and then activate the email sync again.
    If the above steps will not work, clear your history by doing these steps:



    • Open Internet Explorer (on phone)
    • Tap (...) then go to Settings.
    • Select Clear History.
    Also, check that your server is "m.hotmail.com"
