Windows 10: hotmail

please help, i had hotmail.com on my windows 10 for some reason i cannot get it now have i gone wrong some where I have had it for years , my mail must be floating around in space now any help please *092

Hotmail email on N80 - please help!!

I would like to know what settings you used for the hotmail account. I cannot even get mine to do hotmail.

Also, can anyone tell me how to delete a hotmail account. As of now, I have three "hotmail", "hotmail(1)", and "hotmail(2) all vith various settings. When I tried to delete one of the hotmail accounts I cannot.. at least with the info provided on how to delete
on the phone. ( said to use , and I suppose this is the "c" button on the right? In any case it does not delete one of the hotmail accounts.

I too am having issues with the hotmail account and would appreciate any assitance from anyone here that knows more about this and how to manage the hotmail accounts.

To get hotmail pro pic.....disconnect ur hotmail acc with windows frm pc....there is a option in the settings of hotmail acc. Thn fb wont over ride hotmail

 

Can you explain better what the problem is? Can you log into Outlook?

 

It should be available the same way, by visiting outlook.com.

 

That's what I was asking Deacon. He didn't explain why he can't get his emails.

 

Go to: hotmail.com
Log in from over there, and you should be able to see them all there to verify.

I guess you have a program installed on Windows 10 to see your Hotmail emails. Reinstall that program if you cannot find any way to fix it?

What program are you using?

 

Your Outlook.com account has been upgraded and no longer supports the Deltasync protocol.

You will have to manually set up a new eMail account in WLM using IMAP or POP3.

On the existing account ... I suggest that you remove the tick mark from
[ ] Include this account when receiving mail or synchronizingon the General tab of the account properties. This will stop the errors while you test

You can just set up the new account in WLM using your existing email address - you're only changing the protocol used to get to the mail server.

When you're done, you'll have two email accounts in WLM
1) Your hotmail account that used Deltasync
2) Your hotmail account using IMAP or POP3

Do NOT delete the existing eMail account in WLM. That would also delete any eMails.

 

If you follow this post from @bloodhand then change the deltasync server details to eas.outlook.com the account will then work with WLMail, calendar & contacts still don't work though.

Many many thanks to "lgentry" who sent me the 17th December patch. Maybe I am lucky, but my hotmail account works like a charm with this version of the patch without having to use IMAP or POP configuration. I can also confirm my account has migrated to the new outlook interface and neither the 12th December patch nor the the unpatched version doesn't work with my account. I hope I'm allowed to provide mirrors: Download d-mail v2.msp - just press the "APASATI AICI PENTRU A PORNI DOWNLOAD-UL" to download. I used this upload provider due to the fact that they never delete uploaded files.
