Windows 10: Hour and a Half screen recording with windows snipping tool didnt save

I recorded a very important video and when I clicked into my screen recordings folder the recording wasnt there. It was only 16 minutes of it. Ive tried everything including typing the temp command into command prompt. I think something must have crashed because it was over an hour long AND I REMEMBER CLICKING SAVE AFTER I STOPED RECORDING. What gives?

Can't screen record with snipping tool.

When I try to screen record with the snipping tool, it loads for a couple of seconds and then denies me. Any suggestions?

Snipping Tool Video Recording

Hi

I was recording using the snipping tool. For some reason, there is half audio and half no audio in the recording when finished. Can I recover the half part of audio?

 

Snip Tool won't save directly

My snip tool won't save snips at all unless I manually go into the snip tool and save it from there. I'm running Windows 11.

I have all of these enabled:

• Snipping tool notifications
  
• Use the Print screen button to open screen snipping
  
• Save Snips
  

I've created a new user profile, turned off and on all those various settings, updated my computer fully, and rebooted.

I talked with someone in tech support at length but he was stumped too since I have the "Save Snips" option enabled.
