Windows 10: hovering on icons shows names on the screen

So, today i installed windows 11 on my pc, and when it was completed i was checking it and found out that when i hover on my taskbar anywhere, it shows names of functions on right, like, language button, wifi and volume control, date and time, even when i am not hovering on them ,it is too much annoying, buttons work fine and hovering on them works to but when i hover somewhere else it triggers the hover to here is how it triggers the hover function, i am not even on show desktop button still its showing it, its really annoying please tell me how to get rid of it, i have tries to use sysdm.cpl

Excel - File open - hover over files - file names do not show up

Office 365 / Windows 10 x64

Excel: File > Open shows a list of filenames.
Due to the limited space, long file names are cut off, regretfully so.
(There is a lot of unused empty space on the right of the File - Open dialog)

Problem: in case long file names with almost identical names it sometimes is difficult to select the one: the differences between these files are displayed. See attachment. One file is 02-2021 the other 02-2020, or vice versa?

Now, I suppose..., when hovering over the files, a pop-up would show up displaying the full file name(?)
Repeat: suppose, as with me it never did.

However, if my assumption is correct and indeed a pop-up should show up, then I wonder what could prevent this from happening.

Any suggestions?

Cannot put icons on the left side of my desktop

Hi Charlie,

You should be able to arrange your desktop icons however you want. Since you want them all aligned on the left side of your desktop screen, we suggest that you follow these steps:

• Right-click at a blank area on your desktop.
• Hover on View.
• In the right pane, look for Auto arrange icons. If it's checked, make sure to uncheck it.
• Hover again on View.
• This time, check Align icons to grid. Your icons should now be aligned on the left side of the screen.

No Task Bar (hovering) preview, no peeking, no full screen is on hovering over and clicking

When there is no window opened, hovering over taskbar app icons, a preview is shown, but on hovering over preview no full window is opened, and no peeking is done, and also clicking on that small preview, no window opened.

1. And whenever there is a window is opened then hovering over taskbar icons doesn't gives any preview of the window.
2. But it still opens window, on just clicking on task bar icons ( i.e. working fine ).

And when two windows of any app is being opened and if minimized any of them then you can not maximise that minimized window...???

• And when both windows of same app is being minimized then hovering over task bar icon of that app still shows those two previews, but clicking on any preview doesn't provide anything, and thus it all means after minimizing those two window of that app you
  can not recover any of the window.

Basically the problem is I'm not able to open window ( or make full ) from any task bar preview and the First (1.) one also of first paragraph.
