    I have a hovering text on my screen that is coming from another window

    ( another opened Chrome window)

    Why does it happen, and how can i get rid of it without rebooting ?

    windows 10 pro insider preview build 14931.rs_prerelease.160916-1700 shows only squares on32 bit menu . Solution?

    If I try to choose configuration all text line are only white with no text shown.

    Also in edge no task bar item visible

    Settings screen is complete black and If I hover over nothing shows

    Hover text for power options persists after resumption from sleep/shutdown.

    Looks like a bit of a cosmetic bug in the Win 10 UI this.

    When taking the power option on the start menu, each option produces hover text stating what it does. On resumption from sleep or (hybrid) shutdown, the hover text associated with the last action taken persists as a box at the top of the start menu, obscuring
    the user and avatar, after login.

    It is necessary to select "power" and then hover over one of the options to produce the hover text for that option in the usual place to kill the errant one at the top.

    Is this a known problem with a simple fix? Has anyone else noticed it?

    Hovering text on my screen

    Close all running instances of Chrome.
    Start Task Manager and kill all Chrome processes.

    See if that does the trick.

    Might be a good idea to uninstall Chrome then download and install the latest version too.
