  1. Hovering the Notepad icon from the taskbar does not display the titles of individual Notepads

Hello Everyone! Hopefully someone can help me. I use Notepad a lot on my Win 11 laptop. I use it for work and I would usually have multiple Notepads open simultaneously. Recently, I noticed that hovering the icon from the taskbar no longer shows me the titles of those I've got opened. Now the titles all read 'Notepad' from top to bottom. This might because of recent Win updates but I need to find a way to make those titles show again, either by reverting to the previous version of the app, applying a fix or changing some settings, I don't know. Please advise. Thank you.

    :)

  3. I lost notepad icon. How to get t back ?

In the "Search box" enter: notepad and then select "Notepad" located a the top displayed list. After Notepad opens, pin it (right click on the icon in the taskbar) to the Taskbar.

  4. Hovering the Notepad icon from the taskbar does not display the titles of individual Notepads

Can't right-click notepad icon in taskbar

    Hi

Try refreshing the Taskbar icon for Notepad.

Open Notepad by pressing WinKey+R to display the Run dialog. Type
    Notepad.exe and click OK.

With Notepad opened, right click the
    Notepad icon
on the Taskbar and select Unpin from Taskbar.

Repeat the process to open Notepad, right click the Taskbar icon and select the Pin to Taskbar option.

    Test the results.
