Windows 10: How? 2004 Never Offered to 1909-64 Pro HP Desktop

For anyone not getting 2004 offered — via Search I found a Thread that states that this file DevMgr: Sound-Video-Games —uci64a189.dll — is in a List of Problem Conexant HD Audio drivers blocking 2004.

That List location I can't find.

My Driver was NOT either of 2 Ver 85. series drivers that MS Blocks link 2 below, but I think my Ver # may be HP generated after they mod’d that driver.

That .dll is in my — Driver Tab/Driver Details button of mine, and the OP stated HP offered no help Sept.

A Dell owner experienced the same, so we must drift hoping for a solution as I anticipate issues IF I use the ISO and force the Upgrade.

HP AND Intel Software Sppt APPS both offer nothing and Dev Mgr checks of ie Wi-Fi, Ethernet drivers are Current.

Group Policy has TargetReleaseVersion set at 2004, Semi-Annual Channel, and Feature Update Deferral at 1 day I think to block Preview Cum Updates from showing per AskWoody Forum.

Any knowledge of How to get a Fix to then get May 2004 is appreciated.

1909 to 2004 upgrade

The 20H2 iso is available for download (see News section), so that naturally 'includes' 2004. This is a step preceding 20H2 becoming available by Windows Update in place of 2004; presently you'd be offered 2004 by WU then the 20H2 enablement package. All downloads are available following the relevant article in the News section.

It's an evolving scenario following the pattern of 1903/1909.

 

Windows 10 2004 issue with system interrupts at 100 percent cpu

Since installing Window 10 release 2004, I constantly have to reboot desktop PC after system interrupt begins running at 100 percent cpu. Desktop is HP p6-2220t processor Intel Pentium G640 2.80Ghz, 8 GB ram, 64-bit os. Had no problems at all running
build 1909. Any suggestions would help.

 

1909 vs 2004

I thought (maybe) or suggested (possibly) this seemed to be true immediately with 2004, but after being with it for a few days I do find & feel 2004 superior to 1909. No, this isn't from fancy lab set ups & testing
or Swiss stop-watches... nothing but, plain ole everyday use.

2004, same hardware, same software, definitely is faster, snappier, more responsive & more fluid than 1909 (was).
