Windows 10: How are things removed, added, or restricted without my Administrator permission on my...

How are things removed, added, or restricted without my Administrator permission on my personal laptop - Developer tools ?, extra software, editing restrictions, Xbox program, Apple iOS software on my MS PC, etc.?!! I don't install these things, yet there they are.

Let us assist you to have an Administrator permission. To start, follow the steps below to enable the Windows Super Administrator Account.

• Type CMD on the search box.
• CMD will appear at top.
• Right click on it, then choose Run as administrator.
• Type this command & hit Enter: Net user administrator /active:yes.
• After you enable the Super Administrator account, log out on your existing account then log into Super Administrator account.
• On the Super Administrator account, you can now create an Administrator account or give Administrator permission on the existing account.

After you created an Administrator account, we suggest that you disable the Super Administrator account by following the same steps and using this command:
Net user administrator /active:no.

School Account added restrictions to PC. Removed school account, but restrictions remain... How do I remove them?

I previously used a school account on my personal PC which added restrictions to my PC. I've since removed the account, but after restarting the restrictions remained (things like backup settings, device manager, policy settings).

Is there an extra step I require to do?

Looking at the error messages you've shared, it appears that this is a permission issue. We'd like to confirm this some information though to make sure that we provide you the appropriate solution.

• Is your computer part or connected on a domain?
• Were you able to install/uninstall software on this computer before?
• If so, were there any changes made prior to the issue?
  

In the meantime, let's try to change the ownership of your C-drive and see if it addresses the issue. Follow these steps:

• Press Windows key + S and search for This PC.
• Click This PC in the search result.
• By default, it should show C.
• Right-click the C drive and choose Properties.
• Click the Security tab and click Advanced.
• In the Owner section, click Change.
• In the Select User or Group window, click Advanced.
• Click Find Now, select the Administrators group, and click
  OK.
• The owner on the Advanced Security Settings window should now be changed to
  Administrators.
• Under the Permission entries list, the Administrators group should be also be added.
• Check the box for Replace owner on subcontainers and objects.
• Click Apply, then OK.
