    How can assure a trojan:Win32/Vigorf.A has been removed in Windows 10?


    After running a full scan on my Windows 10 PC yesterday I got suspicious after a couple of Windows messgs regarding blocked actions I found a Trojan:Win32/Vigorf.A virus. I took the Windows Defender actions and first selected ‘quarantine’,then ‘remove’. I ran an offline scan then re-ran a full scan overnight. The Current Threat results indicated there still? may be threats on the device, though the new scan showed no new threats found. I looked at a previous thread on this site regarding Trojan virus and followed the steps recommended by trying to delete both the quarantine history, and

    How to remove Trojan: Win32\Dorv.Flrfn

    Windows Defender detected Trojan: Win32\Dorv.Flrfn buried deep in an external hard drive. An error message appeared. I don't think the trojan was purged. I think a manual removal was recommended. How do I do this or is there another way to remove it?
