    How can downloaded videos change into jpg pics?


    Hello beautiful people, I swear I'm not crazy but I have a video library I downloaded using 4K video down loader. I have used it for years without a problem. My computer storage was filling up so I moved about 200 GB's to an external HDD. Today I needed to access some videos to share and discovered that 48 out of 60 videos in that folder have mysteriously changed from MP4 into JPG pics? How can this have happened? I have no possible way to recover those videos. I have just a few days ago accessed several of those and they were still at that time in their MP4 format. I use windows 10 home a
