Windows 10: How can i access my computer from TV using VLC?

I put the user the cmd says after typing echo %username% , and i use the password that i use for this account, xbox, etc...but it doesnt allow me to. And in the past i could do it, the only difference after the reset is that i installed a new complementary hard drive.Please, im desperate!

Connect Samsung Smart TV to Computer

We suggest that you follow these steps:

• Connect your PC and TV in same network.
• Got to Start and click on Settings.
• Open Devices and chose Connected devices from the menu on the left.
• Click on Add a device.
• After the wizard finished, just click on your TV and follow the instructions.

Play movies from Computer to TV

Just drag the program you use to watch movies, over to the TV.

Use the built in program Z has suggested, or I personally use VLC Player.

One computer cannot access other network computers.


So I've tried every troubleshooting step I know:

• Double checked that Net Bios was enabled
• Ran a bunch of network commands:
  • flushed DNS
  • registered dns
  • pinged and located the named computers successfully
• Reset my router to factory settings

Nothing works when I try to access via explorer. I'm still baffled by the fact that every other computer can access each other AND access this computer. It's just the outgoing connection from this machine that doesn't work.

Any thoughts?
