Windows 10: How can I access my laptop I just recently purchased

Just got a new laptop Microsoft ask to setup account. Used my personal email address, laptop restarted, Microsoft ask to sign in. Signed in, error message saying that email doesn't exist, create new account, with the same email and it tells me it exist already. Go back to log in it tells me it doesn't recognize the email address, again. Created a new account with a new email, password goes through, it ask me setup a pin click that, and it says, something went wrong. Click retry, same message. Click skip for now brings me back to the sign in screen. Constant loop can't access any of the laptop

Quick access folder - worthless...

I purchased a new laptop a few months ago (Lenovo Flex), and the Quick Access list is very long, and does not even display the recent folder I have been and out of several times today, but it does list folders that I have not even been in at all...at least not in recent memory. It's been this way from day one. I've been unable to figure out how to get it back to normal. Any suggestions?

 

LAPTOP is not accessible ..... Access is denied.

I am trying to share a folder on a LAPTOP. I have other a number of other systems that have folders Shared and they work fine, but with this one I get the error "LAPTOP is not accessible ..... Access is denied." when I try to access it from a different Win10 system. So I went thru the entire "How to Share Files and Folders Over a Network in Windows 10" tutorial step by step. File and Print Sharing is enabled, SMB1.0 client & server are running, and Everyone has Full Access to the Share. Still get the error. I have tried it with the Network Public and Private, with the same result. Any suggestions ? Microsoft Windows 10 Home Version 10.0.19042 Build 19042

 

Recent files access

Depending on the update being installed this can sometimes be an entirely new version of the software so these list don’t carry over.

You can access recent documents by following these steps:

Press Windows Key + E.

Under File Explorer, select Quick access.

Now, you will find a section Recent files which will display all the recently viewed files/documents.

Regarding your issue with Facebook, have you installed the app and you are having issues opening this?

If so I would suggest going to settings/apps and removing the app before reinstalling, this clears up most issues.
