    How can I activate Windows 10 home from an unactivated Windows 10 S

    I've been having an issue with activating my Windows 10 Home key because I have the free version of Windows 10 S. I've been going through different support chats getting help. I've tried to log back into my account to see if it detected a digital license
    but It didn't. This has been worrying me for a while and I just want it to be resolved.

    How can I activate Windows 10 home from an unactivated Windows 10 S

    Win10s only path is upgrade to windows 10 Pro, you can do that through the Microsoft Store on the start menu. There was a reduced price that way for the upgrade.

    To return to windows 10 home, you would need to do a full fresh install from booted media. If you have plenty of free hard drive space you might make a partition and install windows 10 home into that partition. Then you would have both 10s & home.

    My questions:
    1. Were you able to install but unable to activate, or were you unable to install at all ?
