Windows 10: How can I add a third Monitor and work independently from the second monitor?

I just installed a third monitor with a HDMI Splitter that has 4 HDMI out ports and 1 in port. The third monitor is working, however it will only mirror the second monitor it will not work independently from the second monitor. My PC with windows 10 will not detect the third monitor. Can you tell me what I need to do? Thank you!

I accidentally hit the update button instead of postpone and now my second monitor does not work.

I suggest you to unplug the cable from the monitor and connect to the second monitor, and check if it works.

Also, suggest you to follow the below steps, and check if it helps.
1. Press Windows + X, and select Device manager.
2. Check if the second monitor is listed under Monitor.

Second monitor screen resolution problem

Windows 10 does not recognise second monitor
