    How can I add and app to start


    Hi,How can I add an application to the start menu if it's not showing? I do mean the left alphabetical pane not the right 'stuff I'd like handy' side.Richard.

    NEWLY added apps are not showing on Start App list

    Hi Tamal,

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

    1. Is Cortana able to search the apps installed?

    I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if that helps.

    • Type Start Settings in Search and hit
      Enter.
    • Turn on Show recently added apps in jump list of Start of Taskbar.

    How can I add and app to start

    Windows 10 Start menu is empty

    Hi. Steps 1 and 2 didn't do much but step 3 has restored what looks like the list of original Microsoft apps but no sign of any of the many apps I have installed. And there are no tiles in the start menu. Any suggestions please?
