Windows 10: How can I avoid negative side effects caused by feature updates?

Hey guys. I've started noticing strange issues with my Windows 10 installations.I'm not sure where they stem from, but I would have to assume the root cause is feature updates.So far I've observed these things start to break or misbehave:Screenshots in full-screen start and full-screen start functionality as a whole - the wallpaper in the background just blacks out for no reasonMicrosoft Photos automatically updates itself, even if store autoupdates are offNon-functional mail client for gmail - new outlook keeps installing itself could be an issue with lack of API updateslikely other issu

Overclocking to Save Battery ?

Somebody was suggesting me this, to improve the performance of the battery overclock the phone to 900MHz, it will slow down the processor but will save quite a bit of battery.



My question is

• is it true
• How safe it is, will it cause any damage, working, functionality, features of the phone.
• What side effect, negative effect can it have on the working of the phone.

As initial troubleshooting steps I suggest you to install the latest windows 10 updates, please follow the steps to install all the windows updates.

If you want to check for the update now, select the Start button, then select
Settings > Update & security >
Windows Update > Check for updates.

We suggest you to try changing the visual effect setting. To Change your Visual Effects Settings in Advanced System Settings refer the below steps,
