Windows 10: How can I change my email address that I bought Windows license on that is associated with...

In 2017, I bought Windows 10 through my school using my school email address since it was at a discounted rate. I bought it for personal use as I was building a PC. Fast forward to 2023, I did an update and I could no longer login through the lock screen. Yes, I know my PIN to open my computer I literally used it normally the day before I updated. When I entered in my PIN to unlock my computer, it would give me this message: "You can't sign in with this account. Try a different account." After trying to restart multiple times even in safe mode, I wondered if it was due to me buying this with

I have multiple computers with different windows licenses but have upgraded all of them to windows 10 now. I have an old email address associated with one of them and I want to change that account information for that license so that it uses the same cloud
account as the two newer ones and I can then eliminate the old email address. How do I do this?

When I bought my laptop, it came preloaded with Windows 10 and it asked for my email address, but I entered my work email address and now I want to change that email address.

Currently it shows that the product( i.e. Windows 10) is licensed to my work email address.

Will my license be invalidated if my work email address would be deleted by my company's admin(like on leaving the company) ?

And how can I change the email address?

Please Help!!!

Here is the step to remove that old email address.

Start typing an email address into the “To” field. As soon as you see the old email address being recommended as one of the potential candidates, use the down arrow key to scroll through the list of suggestions. Once you highlight the old email address, type the delete key. In many cases, this will actually remove the entry not only from the current list of suggestions but from future suggestions as well. You may even find that as you mouse over the drop-down list the highlighted item will have an “x” to explicitly allow you to delete it.

Just do this step and your good to go.
