Windows 10: How can I change my Windows lock screen back to windows spotlight instead of being stuck on...

A few months ago, my Windows Spotlight lock screen suddenly froze and switched to the photo setting. I've tried fixing it by choosing Windows Spotlight again and restarting my laptop several times, but it didn't help. I then clicked the support button and followed various troubleshooting steps, like checking background apps in the task manager, restarting, and reinstalling the app. Unfortunately, nothing has worked. I'm stuck and need some advice on what to do next.

Windows Spotlight on the lock screen

There are multiple causes on why you're encountering this issue. To further troubleshoot the issue, we suggest that you disable and re-enable Spotlight. Simply follow the steps below:

• Right-click on the desktop and open Personalize.
• Open Lock Screen tab.
• Under Background, switch from Windows Spotlight to a Picture or the Slideshow.
• Click OK and close the Window.
• Now Log off and log in.
• Navigate to Lock screen and enable Windows Spotlight again.

Windows Spotlight lock screen is stuck with dark screen since tried this Microsoft solution:

My lock screen was stuck for months with the same picture,

I just searched for a solution and found here - Windows Spotlight lock screen is stuck on the same picture!

After I did all steps as suggested, I now have a black screen when Windows is loaded (before entering the password).

Please help me to solve this problem, black-dark screen is not nice at all.

Lock screen stuck on picture. I chose the Windows Spotlight option.

Try these steps:

• In Personalization->Lock Screen settings change Background to Picture.
• Delete everything from folder
  
  C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Windows.ContentDeliveryManager_<somecharacters>\Settings
• In Personalization->Lock Screen settings change Background back to Windows Spotlight
