Windows 10: How can I change the local PC administrator account on my Windows 11 PC

When I built my PC I did so with a local NON-MS account specific to that PC as an administrator. That means I have control on the PC and Windows 11 without having to relate to or involve Microsoft. Then I created my usual Microsoft account as a NON-Administrator. That is what I use all the time seems slightly safer to use a non-administrator account. But how can I change the Password of my non-MS local PC administrator account. If I go through settings I can see the account but not change it. So Iogin to the local machine as my local administrator. But then using either settings or C

Change Microsoft Account Details in Administrator Account

It's quite easy in fact, simply switch the account in question first to a local account, then switch back to a Microsoft account, this time using your wife's MS account credentials.

Notice that before doing this you need to remove the new additional MS account on the PC, the one you created with her credentials. Windows allows only one user account for each email address, if the new account exists you cannot switch the original administrator account to an MS account using the same email address. Change local account into administrator

• Press Windows key + I to open the Settings app.
• Click Accounts.
• Click Family & other people.
• Under Other people, select the user account, and click
  Change account type.
• Under Account type, select Administrator from the drop down menu.
• Click OK to complete the task.

Note: If you are using an Administrator account, you could use the same instructions to change the type to a Standard User account.

Remove Microsoft Account and Local Data from "gift" PC

Hello,

Hope this is a relatively simple ask.

I set up a WIN 11 PC for my parents with two local administrator accounts. To do so, I used my Microsoft Account for the initial Windows 11 configuration and set up. I will be giving them the desktop and wish to delete my account and data from the PC.

I changed the name and account type of my Microsoft Account to local/administrator but see some local folders and references to my Microsoft cloud data - which I want to delete locally (from this PC not anywhere else).

What are the steps to remove my Microsoft Account and data from this PC as I give them the new computer? Is it more than deleting the folder in the C:\Users for my local account?
