why as it become so much harder to get answers to straightfoward questions from Microsoft, Windows and google lately?

How to download/save music from a MP3 to Windows Media Player?

I have a large list of old songs from an MP3 disc that are saved in Windows Media Player. This is something I did quite by accident (around the time of the change to W-10) and don't remember how I downloaded/saved them. Now I want to do the same with several
other MP3 discs containing songs and radio programs.

I could use either WMP or Groove, I have looked around in both. It maybe something simple but I haven't been able to figure out how to copy them to my computer and listen to them in WMP. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

• Click View all, and then click Windows Media Player Settings.

Method 2: If the above steps do not help, you may try to delete music files directly from the mp3 player, follow the steps below:

To delete music files using the computer, follow these steps:

1. Connect your mp3 player to the computer.

2. Select Open device to view files using Windows Explorer on initial connection.

3. Locate the folder where your music files are stored.

4. Right click and select delete the music files or folder.

downloaded and saved to your computer, or content streaming over a network or the Internet.

Open the Windows Media Player Settings troubleshooter

1. Press Start button and typeControl panel.
   
2. Type troubleshooting and select Troubleshooting.
   
3. Left corner select view all and select Windows media player setting troubleshooter.
   
4. Follow on screen steps and check.
